How would your CO know about your comments if you were in a care facility?

The mental health history might be a bar to reenlistment, but the commentary made while in care is between you and your physicians.

Agree with Missy, the reenlistment bar is probably due to the mental health issues. Even if the treatment helped, if there is a likelihood of re-lapse they are going to err on the side of caution. If you were placed on any long-term medications to control your condition, they aren't going to risk you running out somewhere. Plus depending on the circumstances the situation may have resulted in a subsequent bar on firearms possession. Soldiers aren't very soldiery without guns. It's unlikely your CO ever heard about your comments.

The comment was made to another military member during a visit. I've since received a letter of reprimand. Recently my evaluation made a referral to that issue. I'm not on any medication and have since been found fit for duty. Just wondering if there is anything I can do regarding the referral in my evaluation.
