Default Is it Harassment to Keep Asking for Money Owed by a Former Tenant

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Kentucky

I own a duplex, one tenant I didn't renew her lease due to being late every month with the rent. I would text her about late rent payment. She would respond with a date she can pay, on that day I would text if it was sent. She would then give me a story why she couldn't pay. This was every month. Then the month before she was to vacate, her employer wrote me a bad check. During this we would have conversations on the rent, never once did I threaten anything but eviction w/ small claims to collect. And because I would text and ask for rent, call her out on her reasons why she couldn't pay, she says I'm harassing her. She left the apt w/ 5 huge holes in the walls, broken doors, damaged the disconnect for the AC.
The aboves neighbor in Feb or Mar informed me she was buying a house and would be out at the end of her lease in April. I was OK with that but April turned into May, May to June, June to July 24. I never had a problem with her paying her rent until April. She paid April's rent in May and I was willing to work with her because she always paid. She accrued late fees for April. That was the last rent check I seen. Because she kept telling me when she was going to be out I kept putting off eviction but the fees kept accruing. I finally took her to small claims and was awarded what I was suing for. I filed a wage garnishment and received the news the day she was finally moving out. But during these months we text back and forth with conversation like when am I getting rent nearly everyday. She got mad a said I was harassing her. Again the only thing I threatened was eviction and small claims. THOUGHTS?

thoughts on what? You are entitled to attempt to collect money due to you. There is a line somewhere where collection attempts become harassment. It is not written anywhere.

    Is there a problem currently?
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
