Can Management Enter My Apartment Anytime for a Whole Month

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California

I've been renting here for many many years and recently management changed. This new manager has been entering my apartment many times already this year as it never happened before but at least that takes place for no longer than a week and they alsways give me a 24 hr notice. This time they gave me a 24 hr notice that they will be entering my apartment anytime from 8-5pm for 29 days! I do not feel comfortable with this because it's a really long time. Do they have the right to do this?

That would not ordinarily be reasonable. The purpose of the entry would be what?

Sorry I missed mentioning that. This is what the note says and it was sent to every single apartment here.

Subject: Notice to enter dwelling beginning July 26 to Aug 23.

This is to serve as notice that the maintenance staff will be entering your unit to make repairs from our semi-annual unit inspections conducted by the manager. These repairs will be made over the next month in preparation for the LAHD inspection that will be held Aug 23. You do not need to be present for this, but be aware that we will be entering your unit between the hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm.

I'd feel free to petition the local landlord-tenant court about it, because the onus should be on the landlord to do planning a little better as to when what is being done where vs. thinking they have a blanket license to issue one notice to cover a whole month.
