A guaranteed student loan? Probably nothing - guaranteed student loans are not normally dischargeable.

well that's good.

So 10 years down the line, providing I make payments to them on time, it will not appear as if I defaulted on them or anything negative even if I wind up filing for bankruptcy?

If you don't default on a loan, your credit report should not show a default.
