Uhm.....that is incorrect! Please reference the a piece writting in the Seattle PI where a WA State Patrol Officer states when you should change speed.....and it is after the sign.....not before.
ummm...No, it IS correct! YOU should please reference the article you mentioned and read it a bit closer. What the article says is correct...the speed limit goes into effect AT the sign, not before or after! What that means is that, for example, the speed limit decreases from 50 to 40, the 40 MPH limit is in effect AT that sign. There is no "grace period" that allows you to slow down after the sign. You are required to be at or below the new speed limit at or before you pass the sign!

I don't need to make an assumption of innocence, I can prove. it.
Prove it how, exactly? You turned onto a road with a 40 MPH speed limit and accelerated to 50 MPH. You have stated that there were 40 MPH signs posted both before where you entered onto the roadway and after. Where is your proof of anything other than unquestionable guilt?

This was clearly a poor spot for an officer to pick up speeders when they come in from the same side road I did. That is completely obvious.
It was a poor spot for you. THAT much is "completely obvious," as you got caught. But, if by "poor spot" you mean illegal, unethical, ineffective, unjust, etc., then nothing in your posts back up that statement and it is FAR from "completely obvious!"
