My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Maryland
My husband traded in a vehicle that I was the primary on the financing. They allowed him to bring the new vehicle home, but told him I needed to come and sign the new finance paperwork. I refused. When he went back to the dealership less then 12hrs later they told him they sold it at auctionThey allowed him to finance the vehicle on his own, but I never signed away my rights to the trade in. The truck that was traded was registered in TX and our bank is not showing any payoff.
Is this legal? I would like to get my truck back if at all possible.
Thank you for your time.
