Can a Vehicle Be Registered by Another Person, if Yours is Suspended

My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: Pennsylvania


My registration is being suspended for 3-months, and I wanted to know if I can transfer the title over to my father so he can register it, so that the car can still be driven while I surrender my plates. Would he be able to register the car after the title transfer, even though the same vehicle registration is suspened on my plates?

If PennDOT determines that the purpose of the transfer is to avoid the suspension they can decline your relative's attempt to register it.

This was just as a last resort if I couldn't find substitute transportation while I served my suspension, luckily I will be able to use one of my parent's cars so it's not an issue anymore, my only concern is that I just got new insurance, can they cancel my policy if they see that my registration will be suspended next month? If so, once I receive notice that my registration is up for reinstatment, would I then be able to register it under my father's name? This wouldn't be to avoid suspension, because the suspension will have already been served.
