My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia and California
Hi, I was placed on probation for a Criminal Trespass conviction in September of 2011 and I am under supervised probation for a year. I've paid all fines and completed all other duties and was allowed to move to California with my wife. Do I have to tell employers in California about my Georgia probation? I know Equal Opportunity Employers say that me saying that I have been convicted will not necessarily prevent me from gaining employment but I think it has been hindering me and my job search considerably.
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.
