Default Adoptions Where Bio Parent Paid Child Support

My question involves adoption law for the State of: CA

Does anyone know of any cases where the bio-parents were court ordered to pay child support after giving the kid up for adoption?

before or after the actual adoption?

and just to be clear, you are not talking about delinquent child support owed to the state or some other entity but newly accrued child support, correct?
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

after adoption when bio parent no longer has any legal rights and doesn't owe the state money.

Then the ex-parent generally has no legal obligations, either.

So there's never been a case where bio parent has been court ordered to pay child support to adoptive family? Not even if adoptive family files for welfare?

Best not to expect someone to do research on whether "there's never been a case."

Once a person's legal relationship to a kid has been severed, it's been severed. Legally, they are a stranger.

I have seen abuse and neglect cases where the court continued a support obligation, on the theory that the payor shouldn't benefit from (nor should the child be penalized for) his/her misconduct.

what about 'normal' cases where bio parent voluntarily released rights due to personal/financial reasons?

Eri, why don't you explain the actual situation? Perhaps if we have the context, we'll be able to help you further.

This is solely for research. A common theme in paternity cases is that men do not have the right to decline unwanted parental obligations and responsibilities, eventhough the U.S. allows single-parent adoption for any reason whatsoever. Its quite confusing to me to be honest.
