Driving a Non-Registered Vehicle Ticket

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Missouri

I didn't actually receive a ticket so I hope you guys can still help me. I just have one simple question. I just recently moved to Missouri from Minnesota and people selling their vehicles do something different down here. They remove their license plates prior to selling the vehicle. My question is, how do I get the vehicle back home (I don't have another vehicle or know someone who has a trailer so that is out of the question.), without getting pulled over and receiving a ticket for driving a non-registered vehicle.

You also might call the local police and ask about it. I know is some areas of the country, they tend to be a bit generous and don't make a huge issue about driving a car home from a purchase without a valid plate. By all means, don't put on a plate that isn't registered to the vehicle. That is worse than not having one at all.
