Executive Clemency Request With No Response

My question involves criminal law for the state of Illinois: Has anybody else filed an exec clemency request with the Governor. Did you get a response? It went before the committee already in 2008. My incident happened 20 years ago and I have not been able to secure a good job since. Contacting the Governors office for status - it is not his top priority. In the meantime my family and I suffer. I did community service, paid restitution so why can't society let me move forward. If I were a politician it would not be a problem. My offense was working part time while collecting unemployment to suffice my income that I had before unemployment. I did know it was a crime in 1991 now it is vocalized every time you call in. Day late and dollar short, what about others. Any suggestions.
