Default Teenager Drug Dealer May Have Sold to the Police

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Arizona

Jack sold someone supposedly name John a fairly large amount of cannabis. John said "I heard you got busted by the cops?" and Jack asked who told him multiple times and John simply laughed nervously. Jack asked John how old he was and he said 16 but John was extremely tall and looked like he was in his 20s. Jack said "dang you look like you're 20 man!" John again laughed nervously as if he didn't hear what Jack said. Couple of weeks later Jack finds out through sources that police think Jack's friend is dealing (John has previously stated he knows this friend, but Jack's friend does not know him) and that same night Jack sees two cops parked by his house waiting for Jack to come home, but Jack drove by them and went around and by that time they were gone. Also later that night John was asking Jack's friends where he was and if he got pulled over and if he could get more cannabis.

If Jack really did sell cannabis to an undercover police officer can a warrant be made for his arrest/search of home? Also, it could be a possibility that John could just be an informant, and if that's the case do the police still have enough reason to issue a warrant? The police in this town are known to harass the teenagers here as well, such as having multiple police cars shining lights at their windows and parking in front of their houses.

Quite obviously, if a drug dealer sells drugs to the police he can be charged with the crime he committed. If the police can develop probable cause to search the drug dealer's home, that can happen as well.

And an arrest doesn't have to happen as soon as the sale is made, it can happen days, weeks or even months later. It really depends how long the police investigation last.

What if John is just an informant, is that enough evidence for the police to issue a warrant?

If you sell drugs to the police, that's enough evidence for the police to charge you with selling them drugs.

It's enough to arrest someone without a warrant.
