Post Reentry for a Legal Permanent Resident After a Shoplifting Conviction

I would really appreciate if someone help on the issue of Shoplifting Muncipal Ordinance and traveling abroad and come back to US.

I have Muncipal Ordinance @ Shoplifting conviction, which is fine of $740. I had paid that fine. I have a green card.

I have no other criminal record other than this Shoplifting conviction.

I have plan to visit my home country this year. Will I be deported/put in removal proceeding at port of entry?

I really need some one's advice/ personal experience/ any section of INA stating the exception is apllicable to green card holder.

Technically speaking, a LPR cannot be denied reentry - the procedure would be that the immigration officer would refer the LPR to an Immigration Hearing to determine deportability. Do I think it's probable that you would be deported over an ordinance-level shoplifting offense? Not probable, but also not impossible.
