Assaulted by Co-Worker at Staff Accommodation

My question involves workers comphensation law for the state of:

Hello sir/mam

I study in london and.currently work part time for an event security company. I was working in one of the international show GOODWOOD at Chichester,Uk 65 miles from London. Our company took us from London to Chichester and provided us hotel to stay where me and three other employees were staying. On 30th june when we came back from work one of the employee staying with us lost the key and starting blaming us which turn into discussion and then I was been punched right into my face by the eyes Which also broke my glasses. I informed my employer they came.and.sacked the employee but I called police as I was been assaulted. Employers tried to send the employee who assaulted me back to his home to not create N issue.But I called police and.asked.me.to do the medical and file case for criminal damage. I went to hospital next day there was no help from employers to help me to get to the hospital as I was having an bkurred vision for two days and eyes were swollen. I am ok now it has been 7days since then what should I do now. Will I be getting any compensation from from employer? Do I have to contact them or they will? And also I wasnt able to go to wirk for next 3 days will I get my salary or not? My question involves workers compensation law for the state of:
