    Default Wife Not Giving Assets

My question involves a marriage in the state of:Georgia. My dad was married to his wife for 22 years. He got disability so paid bills and bought items and such with that. The house was in moms parents name as well as my parents but grandparents name because my parents had bad credit. He didnt have a lawyer. Her lawyer lied and said they were renting the house so that wayy dad wouldn't get anything as far as the house or equity goes. She hasn't given him anything besides basic necessities. Clothes and such. Is this possible? What should he do? What can he do? Please help someone

He can get his own lawyer and stand up for his rights. Quite obviously, the title will show who owns the home.
