Re: If I Marry a So That is Done W Probation, Does He Still Have to Register in the C
Wait a minute, here. You expect to graduate from college in 5 years. The typical age of college graduation is 22...so, you are 17 now? And, have been "dating" this man since you were 16? And, he was convicted when he was 18 and has been on probation for 12+ years...making him 30+?
You don't mention what state you reside in...but, in many states he has already been committing a new crime for "dating" you for the past year! Not to mention the almost assured violation of his probation! Sounds to me like the man is a sexual predator and you are his latest victim. You seriously need to talk about this with a responsible adult whom you trust...not your bff at school, not your friend's "cool" older brother who is 22...I'm talking about a teacher, school councilor, youth minister, your parents, a friend's parents...someone who can help you evaluate your "relationship" with this predator realistically and with your best interests in mind. If he is willing to violate his probation by committing new sex offenses, he is far from "done with that part of his life in all aspects!!!" Please talk to someone about what is going on with you and this sexual predator.
