What Assets Can a Judgment Creditor Take

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: Missouri I am on disability and was just served a summons for a judgement for a credit card debt. I lived on that credit card while waiting for my appeal to come thru which took 5 yrs! Anyway, the only item I own free and clear is my car. Can they take that?

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Missouri I do have an appt. with a Bankruptcy Lawyer on Monday so we'll see what he has to say. I'm trying to dwell on this but ... kinda a control freak! This is all new to me expect when I had to fight for my disability which I eventially got YEAH!! I coun't work; probaby would of living in my car with me 3 cats WHEW! Anyway, I 'm looking for towards a Charter 7 or 13 whichever works to my advantage. Will know more of Monday after I meet with my lawyer. I'm so glad there are sites that you can "actually" believe MOST of what they say-you know how the internet can be. I look for the .org or something like that to know it's probably ligite.
