Car Dealer Agreed to Accept Return, But Hasn't Issued a Refund

hi everyone

im not sure if im in the right place but here is what im faced with.

We have bought a car from a company that were selling their company cars, we have paid the full cash amount and documents were drawn up for the sale, we took the car home only to find oil leaks and
Nuts and bolts and stuff missing, we were told by the guys that the tyres were the only thing that needed to be changed. We called them up and told them this is not acceptable and we don’t want this car as its not roadworthy at all. We went there to them and drew up another document stating that the car to be sold and the money to be put back in our account, but its been 6 months and nothing, we call them and they just cut the call on us.

how can i get our money back, what is this type of situation called in the court of law?
really need some help here

i do understand each country would have different laws, but basically im looking to see what could be done in a situation like this.
hyperthetically speaking if i was in this situation in the USA what would / can be done for me to retreive my money???

I understand what you're asking, and I know where you're coming from - but the bottom line is that what might happen in the US (and the laws here vary from state to state!) will not necessarily be appropriate for anywhere else.
