I don't know what that might be for but if paying it gets them to drop this, it would likely be worth the $25.
just be sure what it is before you pay it. I cannot think of how it might be counterproductive to pay it but just make sure.

I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
I have too yes. However what this is does is drop off late fees and penalties mine they say was a is $1.68 pay $25 to save $1.68 lol. The whole thing is a scam in my opinion, I have taken it upon myself to contact a local tv station about it in hopes they investigate them. I will be sending them a payment tomorrow via certified mail I will have proof they got it. I hope they investigate them sending out these letters demanding money no breakdown on what is due etc on them hoping people will blindly pay them without any question. They told me the 2001 and 2006 tax were unrecoverable after I pestered them but that didn't stop them from sending the bill to me the first time and this second time.
I expect to hear from them again in 60-90 days after I pay this for another hit. This is the second time they got me and I don't think they even were entitled to what I paid them previously when I had to hunt down the former owner and strong arm him into paying it and the loss I took paying the pre-previous owners taxes.
