Can You Get a MIP Expunged

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado
I got caught using a fake ID to buy alcohol but I cooperated with the police and because of that they didn't charge me with a felony for the ID. I did get an MIP though and was wondering since there was a fake ID involved if it would be harder to get expunged and if I could get it expunged at all and what the process would be.

Starting one year after the date of conviction, a juvenile can petition the juvenile court to expunge a MIP conviction if the juvenile has not had any subsequent arrests or criminal charges. (The details are a bit more complicated, but that's the gist.)
