My question involves an easement in the state of: Missouri
I bought a foreclosure 6 months ago, last week a crew shows up and asks if they could enter the property and maintain the oil lines. What oil lines! Come to find out an easement runs right through the middle of the property which makes my 2 acre field a complete waste since there are 5 lines running through. I checked the title insurance and all that is stated is an exception so then I check the county records. No mention on the legal description of the plat book but it does show an easement on the parcel piece.!!! Just wanted to find out what my options are, if I would have known about the easement I would not have bought the place. I did check before purchase of property by calling the county and they stated there was no easements on the property.
