My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: North Carolina
I have been searching everywhere for the correct answer to my question. I am filling out a job application and it asks if i have been convicted of a crime in the last 7 years.
My question is, do I count from the date of conviction (8/25/05) or the date that I completed sentencing. I served no time, but received 1 year UNSUPERVISED probation and $50/fine. I am trying to figure out if I use the conviction date or 8/25/06 - the date unsupervised probation ended...I never saw an PO officer if that matters
