Misdemeanor Expungment

My question involves criminal records for the state of: New Mexico. I am trying to figure out how I can get my record expunged. It has been five years since I got that misdemeanor and it is messing with my ability to get a new job and getting a career. I have stayed out of trouble and been doing the best I can to provide for my children. Please help me.

well, from what I can find, there was a bill that actually made it through the legislature but was vetoed in early March that would have afforded you the ability to expunge your record. I can find no other law allowing you to expunge your record.
