There are some things that SHOULD NOT be glamorized! This is definitely in the top five on my list.

Look at one "star" on "Teen Mom" - 5 years in prison for her antics.

Look at Jersey Shore....

How about some better show ideas:
- Follow local bands.
- Follow people doing volunteer work.
- Follow unemployed people trying to find work. Through the process of looking for work, applying for work, interview, revising resumes. You'll find an audience of sympathetic, "I can relate" people, who can maybe learn a few things.

Get rid of:

"Teen Mom" (I'll get pregnant so I can be on TV")
"Toddlers and Tiaras" ("more like toddlers dressing like hookers and growing up too soon")
"The Biggest Loser" ("The money inspires me to lose weight, not the health reasons")

There is actually a show filming that I would not even audition for....

They set up a shoplifting arrest. You had to submit a 3-minute tape with someone feeding you lines off-screen, such as all the questions the LP ask you.

If it were to deter people from shoplifting....I would audition. But I have a feeling it would not do anything to deter. But to teach techniques and how to answer.

I was looking up our little Ohio loser's fines....and found this website that listed many techniques. Nice to know behaviors to look for, but I suspect it would give people ideas, too.
