Default Moving from Non-Trailing Spouse State to a Trailing Spouse State

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California
Hi, I will be moving to California because of my husband's new job. We are moving from Washington state, which doesn't have a trailing spouse provision outside of military spouses. Am I able to file for unemployment in California under their trailing spouse provision, or am I SOL?
    Thanks, Emily

Unless you fit a statutory exception (See, e.g. UC Sec. 602) you won't have qualifying employment for purposes of California UI.
