Default First Speeding Ticket, Teenage Driver

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Illinois

Lets start off by saying Im 16 and have only had my license for 1 month and 15 days.... Earlier I was given a ticket for speeding and the officer said to check the box "not guilty" and get a court date... If I am found guilty or convicted of the speeding ticket will I lose my license or is there simply a fine and some type of driving probation??

The options for somebody who receives a ticket are outlined here - it's for Cook County, but the general concepts should apply in other counties.

Your answer is in/on that linked page. You just have to put in a little effort to help yourself; we can't do every thing for you.

Similarly, we cannot predict how the judge will feel that day or how he will sentence you... Since you The penalty for the average speeding citation does not normally include a license suspension. But you are a juvenile, and you've only been driving for days, literally.

Oh, and lose the attitude, kid. You're only 16 years old, and you're smart mouth won't do you much good here, or in court!
I am right 97% of the time... Who cares about the other 4%!
