Can I Repo a Vehicle I Sold if it's Still in My Name

Thank all of you for your input. I feel I have really screwed myself by trusting the lady when she said the car was for her and only her and not for her son. I dont want to get in any trouble nor do I want to take the chance on him doing something stupid in the car and I know with his past its just a matter of time. Like I said before I have no problem giving what money they have paid back. Let me ask this,if I can find out 100% sure that he is doing something illegal in the car like drugs or something can I retake control of it that way? I know when I was renting a house if the landloard thought or knew I was doing or having drugs at the house he could have me removed from the house? I am really worried and scared now because I didnt know I was doing something wrong,was just trying to help a lady out(not her son) and now I find out i broke the law with the insurance thing and now knowing she doesnt nor has she had the car sense it left my home,but that her son that is a big meth user and everything else is really the one who has had the car

If the police see him in your vehicle and run the plate, your information is the one that will come up. If this kid is known to the police for using/selling drugs, you may just become part of there investigation. There is nothing the police can do to prosecute you, but it still becomes a headache for you if the police want to knock on your door.

If this kid is involved in a serious accident with an extensive amount of money in property damage and medical claims, the insurance company will walk away leaving you to pay the whole bill out of your own pocket.

You need to get the vehicle back into your possession or transfer the title into the other party's name. You could also put a lien on the title until the vehicle is paid in full.

Talk to this lady and work something out between the two of you before it is to late.

Im getting the car back. Im going to talk with a lawyer and see what will happen to me other than being sued.

I want to kick myself in the ass because when we done this everyone in our small town knows everyone and everyone knows what type of person her son is and she swore that she was getting the car for herself not him and I bought it just to find out she was full of crap

With me taking the car back the only thing they can do is try and sue me for the money they have paid on the car right? And again Im going to repay that money as soon as the car is picked up but I want to make sure thats the only thing that could happen is that I can be sued!!!!!
