Default Re: Two Tenants Leasing the Same House

he needs to attempt to address the court to explain the situation and seek a dismissal of the temp order and a denial of a perm order.

Not sure what to suggest about evicting her. It could be argued it is retaliatory and give him a lot of problems.

He needs to get with the LL about this and why the LL entered into that lease while his is still in force and what he (the LL) intends on doing to correct the situation.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

He was unable to get the date changed. So basically he has to decide whether to go to court that day or go to the VA. Obviously his health is the first priority but not showing up is going to create issues.

The landlord is about to get an awakening as he doesn't seem to think he did anything wrong. He might when the official paperwork is drawn up. It so one would hope.

I am just so angry right now. You would think a life long friend of someone's family wouldn't pull this. She was homeless and sick and he gave her a place to love when no one else would. Some people.

Also I suppose it must look bad on her as well. To have gone and done such a thing with the lease, throw people out who also lives there, sent him over 20-25 texts when he was in surgery, then days later have this put in motion. It doesn't look good on either of them in some ways.
