How to Prepare Interrogatories and Requests for Admissions

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Michigan
I have received request for Admissions, Interrogatories and request for production of documents.
Now I want to return the same back, but what are the right questions to ask.
This is a strange case. The attorney that had this file first, I made payments,after a year, I could not meet the amount they wanted. It kept going up. I sent what I could after two payments, they sold, transferred the case two more times. Now it is back to them. Then the court action when I did not pay, there payoff in thirty days
I have always been willing to make payments, what I can afford. My other card worked with me and to my surprise it is paid off.
I have worked with credit and housing counselors.
I have a comp case going that would pay me back, to when this started, I made them aware of this.

The right questions to ask would be... questions relevant to your case and defenses. As we know nothing other than that you're being sued for a debt, we can't really tell you what to ask.

"I am willing to make payments" isn't a defense, nor is, "I can't afford to pay what I owe."

do i have the right to ask just where this account has been.
How do i go about writing up an objection to MCR 2.144(E)
Since I am doing this myself and do not know all the court rules, I should not be sanctioned if I make a mistake.
