My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia. I was leaving a gas station where I had just dropped my brother off to work and the police had left 10 mins before I did. Remind you that this was April 27th, 2012. He sneaked his way behind me. Pulled me over and gave me 2 tickets. One for no proof of insurance and the other for suspended registration. The car is not mine it is my sister in law's car. The insurance company that she had took the money out every month for the insurance. But that is besides the point. I had called to see how much my tickets were so I could get the money up before the court date. Its been a month and a week and still do not know how much my tickets are. My court date is June 21st. When I call they keep telling me to call closer to the court date. When i do it online it is not in the system. How can I find out how much it is if it is not turned in to the police department. I do not want to go to jail because the police can not turn their tickets in on time. I am a college student and I do not have the time to keep calling these people and no one will tell me anything. I need help. I don't know if it has been thrown out or anything. I do not know what is going on and my court date is 20 days away and counting.:grumpy
