Does a Causing an Accident Violate a Ticket Deferral

My question involves a traffic accident in the State of: Washington

I got in a traffic accident today. I scratched a parked car while pulling into a spot. Im also on a defferal driving period because of a past speeding ticket.

Will i now fail my driving period?
Would this be considered a moving or non moving violation?


Also, insurance was taken and they have already filed a claim. I assume this means a police report will be filed.

We have no way of knowing if a police report will be filed. If it is and you are cited for causing the accident, that would be a ticket during your deferral period. If it's not, I'm not seeing how the court is going to find out.
