Depuy Hip Implant

Hy,
I have a friend that has a hip implant, made by DePuy Orthopaedics, and he told me a few days ago that it started to hurt. I know that must go to his doctor but I can`t convince him.
I saw on the internet that he can initiate a lawsuit against the manufacturer and I think that if I told him about the lawsuits, maybe afters he talks with a good lawyer he will go to the doctor.
But how can I find a good lawyer?

well, just because it hurts does not mean it hurts for the same reason people are suing DePuy for. He needs to see the doctor so the doctor can figure out what the problem is. Then, if the problem is actionable, he can consider a suit.

It would do no good to sue DePuy unless the problem he is experiencing is due to a defective device.

So, putting the cart before the horse will do no good and get him nowhere. If he isn't inclined to see a doctor because he should, then it's all on him.
