Subleased Without Apartment Permission

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: texas

I subleased my apartment for two months and my apartment didn't know about it. They offer releasing but not subleasing. They came and changed the locks on the apartment and my roommate was told to go pick up her new key. The person I subleased to hasn't spoken to the office yet and my roommate just opened the door for him. I don't know what to do, should I call the office and tell them truth and pray that they let the sublease stay or what?

You've made a mess for yourself. We cannot promise you that your landlord will be understanding, nor can we promise that your subtenant will be permitted to stay. You haven't told us why the locks were changed - are you in fact still on the lease, or is the apartment now that of your former roommate?

Yes I'm still on the lease. Each roommate in the apartment has separate leases so she has her own and I have mine. The lock on the front door was changed but the lock to the room wasn't. I called to straighten it out and they told me that I wouldhave to get the person that's subleasing to come to the office, fill out the approval app, and pay the 300 subleasing fee, which he is willing to do. It's just a waiting game now.
