My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
So today I received a ticket. The police officer wrote “CVC 21453(c) red arrow,” on the line for the particular violation. Here is what happened…I was driving back from the dentist and when I made a right turn on what I thought was a yellow arrow light. The light never turned from yellow arrow to a red arrow because on that particular light there is no red right arrow only a red circle signal. After getting pulled over the officer said he was going to cite me for a “red arrow” (rather than a “non-red arrow,” that is my guess). After reading some of the previous blogs on this site I have a few questions/concerns:
-I don’t understand why the police officer wrote down “red arrow” when that particular signal did not have a red arrow?
-About how much will this fine cost me?
-Will this note that the officer put down about a “red arrow” increase the fine?
-Is there a chance I could get this case dismissed?
Any information to help me better understand is appreciated.
