My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas. I'm separated from my husband and currently have primary joint custody of our 2 year old. Yesterday, he sent me several text messages stating that he was going to hurt himself, I wouldn't be happy until he was dead and he should just make me happy and that when something happens to him, I should know it is my fault. This isn't the first time he has done something like this but not since we had our child was born. I contacted his family immediately (he lives with his parents and he was home when he texted me) and they said they were taking care of it and not to concern myself. Is there any possible way to stop him from having unsupervised visitation until he gets help or to a better place mentally? I don't feel comfortable sending my child there if he's talking that way. Thank you.
