Father is Not Paying Ordered Amount of Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: GA

CAN HE GET AWAY PAYING $8 A MONTH IN C/S INSTEAD OF $400 HE IS ORDER TO PAY?

my son is almost 2 and since the beginning he is refusing to pay child support. CS services not helping at all, i called them several times and no progress seem like every lie he said they believe him. last year he was taken to court and not working supposedly "he was" they believed his lie and poor little thing they told him to pay what he can!!! in which side they are on??? as a single mom is hard daycare expenses over $600 a month and not counting in diapers and food he is only paying $8 sometimes showing only a dollar amount into my checking!!!
is a joke the Cs is not taking this seriously. for me. back in January I decided to go to court on my own and filed a complaint for unpaid child support and guess what??
i got a letter in the mail treating from Child support stating if i ever try to do that again my case will be close. i was upset and went to talk to the person in charge of my case and no answers! he owes me more that 6,000 they took him to court but because he joined a support group for single fathers????? never heard of that and more upsetting he did it 3 days after the hearing he was let go with $50 bond! of course he never went to another meeting after that.

please what can i do to get him ? and for child support to do something he is been 4 times in court never taken to jail because he promise to pay what he can even tho he has a job. should i close the case with child support and hire an attorney what are the consequences??? is it worth it???

i feel like they are help him instead of my child. is not ease for me my oldest son has cerebral palsy and needs a lot of care my 2 years old with daycare am working 2 jobs going to school, and they don"t see that

can He get away paying only 8 dollar because they told him to pay 8 dollar for his arrears!!!! is not fare please i need help

Can you prove that dad is working, above and beyond what he's telling the court he's earning? CSE isn't a detective agency, and they don't do that legwork. If you can prove that dad is making more than CSE is aware of, by all means bring this information to the attention of the court so that the court can impute that amount and calculate support, arrears, and payments properly. Better than spending money on an attorney might be to spend enough for a couple of hours of time with a local private investigator, who can see if dad really IS working more than he's letting on, and who can collect that important EVIDENCE of such that the court is going to want. If dad is working and paying ANY amount, jail isn't as likely as you'd like it to be. He'll earn NOTHING and pay NO support, even $8, while sitting in jail. Now if your legwork or your investigator's work can SHOW he's earning MORE than he's saying, then you can ask that he's found to be in contempt and for the court to throw the book at him. Do you know if there is a garnishment order in place with his employer? That takes all the guesswork out of whether he's paying what he "can" or not. If there's not such an order, finding out where he's working is the first step to getting that put in place.

On the other hand, if dad isn't earning, neither you nor the courts can FORCE him to do so, or to make more. All the court/CSE can realistically do in such cases is garnish or take what they can get ahold of.

I did that"s why am so upset with c s in GA he and his mother owned\\ a business together and during my divorce my attorney was able to prove all these even subpoena his accounts right after he changed everything into his mother name. even the business which he still works

his mother was taken to jail for lying about his income "changing his income and work hours" to make him seen like he was only getting minimum hours. the Judge did not believe him and that's why he was order to pay 400 a month. i even gave proof of the new car he purchased and of course his mother name is in it, they know that but they only can tell me is nothing they can do because he is no showing nothing into his name. every document i gave them and still , i rather see him in jail . while divorcing he was sentenced to jail for the same com temp order refusing to pay medical bills and during that time he came up with 4,000 for my medical expenses. as long he is incarcerated he can find his money. that's also proof h has income/

she was sentenced for obstruction with investigation 6 months. after 3 months she bail out .
I was attacked by him while been pregnant 4 1/2 months and is been 2 1/2 years since then and still no trial is hard for me to see him just getting away with everything while am just waiting for the judge to set a date. meanwhile he is spending money getting new cars Working , harassing me , following me around by the time i call police they only tell me if he gets in front of me then they can do something. am afraid for my life and my son i rather see him in jail. I gave all proof of his income and banks acct.s so they can take the money he owes or at least to show amounts of money kept in those acct. but because his mother name is in there too. they cannot touch those accts. i don't know what to do anymore. not even his license is suspended.
