My question involves real estate located in the State of: Minnesota.


There is a large tree in my yard, but close to the street.
The tree trunk is most likely in my yard, not the City easement / ROW.

If the tree blows over in a storm, it will land on the street and or sidewalk, not on any structures (no houses, garages, etc.)

Who is responsible for the cost of cleaning up and removing the tree (homeowner or city)?
Who is responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to City property (street/sidewalk/sewer, etc.)?
