How Much Time Do I Have to Leave the Country

I was on F1 for a year, and after I finished classes, during my grace period I applied for a status change for a B1, and got declined. There was a note that I can fill the reconsideration within 30 days, which I did. Now I am waiting for a decision again.

The first question I have - if my request will be declined again, how much time do I have to leave the country without getting in trouble?

Then, will it bring me problems if I want to come back in the future?

Your I-94 will be returned to you with a request that you depart IMMEDIATELY. There is a bit of wiggle room to pack and make travel arrangements, but they really do mean that you can't stick around, you need to go home.

Then, will it bring me problems if I want to come back in the future?

It will if you don't depart immediately upon denial of the reconsideration.

You should be OK if you need a week to get packed and make travel arrangements, but you really should do your best to get it all done quickly.

I just want to leave US in the end of July anyway, and waiting for the reply to make all the travel arrangements, because if I got declined then I have to leave earlier. Just trying to figure out if it is too risky to buy a ticket for the end of July now... I heard that it can take them up to five month to decide, and if that will be the case, I ll be all set anyway, because I ll be gone by that time (it is ok to leave before the final decision, right? ) But the previous time I got my answer in a couple of month, and now I am waiting only about a month.
