    Default Marijuana Possession

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wyoming

I was busted yesterday for possession of less than 3 ounces of pot. I was wondering what kinda charges come from this. i know its gonna be a misdemeanor and its my first offense so im just kinda freaking out.

You can have a look at the maximum penalties here.

As a first offender, you're rather unlikely to get handed the maximums, unless you make a fool of yourself in court. Expect fines and probation. You'd do well to retain counsel, and see if you're eligible for a diversion program that may leave you with a clean record once you complete the terms of your probation.
