Can Your Parents Stop You From Taking Your Clothes

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arlington Georgia

My father purchased a pair of hiking boots for me, when I was 13 to go on a camp regulated trip for about a month. They cost about 200 dollars brand new, yet a few years have passed and they have become warn/used--yet are still wearable.

I plan to go out into my families Forest preserve on my mothers side Can I legally take them,(without his consent) since they where "gifted" to me under the age of 18? Or is it a luxury item?
