How Do You Fix a Suspended Driver's License

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: North Carolina/California
Last year I received a speeding ticket while visiting North Carolina. I never paid the ticket nor appeared in court. This year the california drivers license I provided in NC expired. Today I learned that I could not renew base on the suspended license in NC. Other than appearing in person or hiring my own attorney to speak on my behalf What can be done to reinstate or un-suspend my license in Carolina? Looking online has lead me nowhere and the phone number leads me online. I need this expedited or processed in a timely manner because inevitably my job is at risk. You need to pay the ticket. You have to call the court involved (it may take a while) and get the payment info (numbers here: http://www.nccourts.org/Courts/CRS/C...tactCounty.asp )

Odds are you'll also have to pay a reinstatement fee in North Carolina.

North Carolina has some funny rules about tickets. They may require you to appear prior to determining your fine amount.

A local attorney may be able to take care of it for you without appearance, but I'm not 100% on that.

Yes, and NC needed the resolution of your violation in a timely manner, too. Since you chose to ignore that, it's going to take you some time. There is no shortcuts to expedite a resolution to this situation of your own making. You need to take care of the ticket, get your suspension lifted in NC, then get your suspension lifted in Cali. That's going to cost you some time.
