The lawyers that turned me down did not review any videotape. The only lawyers I contacted were a few from pa that I found in the yellow pages, I spoke to them very briefly over the phone...
It's nobody's fault but your own if you're not willing to put together a credible case for your lawyers. No offense, you come across as a wackaloon.
Crazy things happen, but when the story is sufficiently outlandish you need to be prepared to offer more than just your word.
I understand how bizarre the story is etc., I take no offense. The reason why I am here is to try to put together a case. I am new to this and I have never needed a lawyer in my life, let alone been committed etc. I have the police report and some paper work about my commitment... Thanks for being so helpful !
This is from your original post. Soooooooo, did this "lawyer" think you were a couple tacos shy of a combo platter and drop ya, or did a "lawyer" even exist in the first place?
I've heard some wild yarns spun into a sweater before, but you're going for outfittin' a platoon of school marms! I especially like the 'no lawyer will take my case cause they all work for the casino'. In the ENTIRE state? I knew casinos had a lot of coin, but to buy a whole state-full of lawyers has to be an expensive habit!
My guesstamation is you need to have your meds adjusted and get another hobby besides storytelling. You're not very good at maintaing any semblance of credibility.
Jus' sayin'.![]()
You can educate dumb, but you can't fix stupid!
If guns kill people, then I blame my pen/pencil/keyboard for misspelled words!
uhhhhh yeah i called every attorney in the state of pa.. wait now I am telling stories, maybe i do need meds... btw the lawyer that got a hold of me only practices in ohio.
Are you bored souper dave?
Since only a few folks are wiling to give me some good advice so far (ty btw), I am curious... Other folks are doubting my story ( I completely understand) lets say hypothetically something like this happened? How would one proceed from this point to get a case together?
Thanks
As you apparently missed it the first few times: One would get the video surveillance of your actions and arrest from the casino.
The police were involved, so I would expect that the police requested and obtained a copy.
There were court proceedings relating to your involuntary commitment which presumably involved allegations about what did or did not happen in the casino so, again, one would expect that the attorneys on both sides of the litigation sought, obtained and reviewed the video.
Just be aware, if this story is a fabrication - now that you've posted this on multiple sites - you might be hearing from Rivers Casino again......
Once them casino folks see this part I'd be willing to wager a fair amount that they may get some of them there lawyers they own statewide and do a little somethin'.
OR! Save on some lawyer fees and send the security dudes out.......with their scissors and shackles and handcuffs and gel caps and syringes and all the rest of their 'toys'.
Oops! My bad! Almost forgot tasers.

Ty @ knowitall, @ darwin, no fabrication here...I'm dead serious. I'm ready for some casino folks or securityThey are dealing with a cancer patient that might have a few years left to live being that my last autogulous stem cell transplant didn't take and my refractory condition is not responding to chemotherapy... So I really don't have much to lose
Good thing I didn't have a metaport or PIC line catheter at the time this happened, good chance I would have bled to death...
@ souperdave, you are a funny guy...
