Expunging a Misdemeanor Assault Charge in North Carolina

My question involves criminal records for the state of: North Carolina

I was convicted of a misdemeanor assault charge in Durham, NC back in 2007. I was only given one year probation and 62 weeks of anger managagement class which, I successfully completed both. I now live in another state but, this charge is still preventing me from getting a better-paying job. Since I am new to this site and all, what are the exact steps I need to take in order to apply for and get an expungement of this charge so that I can fully move on with my life?
