    Default Customer Not Paying

My question involves business law in the state of: California

We are in the business of CD replication. There is a company in Fremont California that was our vendor and also our client. As our vendor this company helped us make CD copies when we had urgent orders. Meanwhile we also supplied our products to this company.

This company owes us about $8000 now with the oldest invoice dated back about two years ago. Any collection effort on our own has been futile. I received ultimatum from their sales that the only way to get paid was by exchanging services. But the quality of this company is the worse in the industry and one time they even mixed a porn DVD in our church music order.

California small claim limit for corporation is only $5,000. What other options do I have? Please advise.

    Thanks!

Bill 'em, sue 'em, hire a collection agency....
