My question involves traffic court in the State of: Georgia, Dekalb county

I received a citation to go to court on may 1, and i was wondering am i able to pay online on such a short notice. i went to the website but, i dont understand what it means, ill post it.

"Payments are accepted online (www.dcrctkts.com) and via the interactive voice response system (404 371-3272) 24 hours a day. You can pay on your case up until 11:59PM on the day you are scheduled for court. If you appeared before a judge, your fine must be paid at the cashier window on your court date during normal business hours. "

Im not sure when 11:59pm on the day for my court means. right of now it is 4/30/2012 3:29AM. Does that mean i have untill 4/30/2012 11:59pm to pay it off? and would i have to appear in court if i payed online? its a speeding ticket worth $158, im sure its not mandatory to go to court. im 19 years old.
