My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Alaska
I received a conviction of a felony DUI in 2003 and am seeking the right process for reinstatement.
What is the most appropriate way to go about a reinstatement of my DL? I have fulfilled all of the obligations of revocation Sentence,5 years probation with 2 probation violations, rehab, voting rights restored and no offenses for over 5 years,Except being able to pay off the fine ($10,000 ouch) Paying it off slowly though.I would just like to be able to function in society ie: driving to work etc. I live remotely here and am experiencing hardship I want to be more productive in society and pay bills. Would there be a chance of getting a limited license? Can I reinstate my license with a lifetime revocation? What are the insurance requirements?
