Default What is Enough to Change Custody

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Tennessee, My son, a game warden was supposed to meet his ex-spouse in a public place to get his son last night at 6pm.. However 2 hours later, she still had not shown up. She was working and had her boy-friend to take my grand-son to meet his dad, however he was caught driving "DUI" after a concerned motorist reported a car driving on the wrong side of the road and wreckless driving north of Knoxville. He man was charged with "DUI", there were pills retrieved-Methodone, and others. The car was impounded...The police called my son, to come meet them at the roadside to get "his biological son". My grand-son was un-hurt, but very scared.
Question..Can my son petition the courts in Tennessee due to this incident, and also word of mouth from various local law authorities stating that this perpetrator is a known-drug supplier?...We are worried terribly about the home-life of my 7 year old grandson...Please advise..Thanks!

    Have child services been involved?

    If not, why not?

Has the boyfriend been convicted of anything (pertaining to this incident)?

He should contact an attorney immediately about filing an emergency petition. A local attorney would know the climate of the local courts and CPS.

Dogmatique -- unless their courts are much faster than our local courts, since the incident happened roughly 24 hours ago, I doubt there has been a conviction yet.
