    Default Military Slander

My fiancee is in the USAF. Recently, his best friend went through a nasty breakup with his live-in girlfriend. His best friend is also his direct supervisor, and the ex-girlfriend crosses shifts and is around them for approximately an hour durrng shift changes. The ex ran her mouth and had the boyfriend committed under false accusations of suicide. While he was under observation (mandatory) she ran around telling everyone about how he was suicidal and how she had slept with people and cheated on him. Of course when he got out he was furious, so he has made comments about her being "slutty" and a former cocaine addict (this is true). She is now angry and going to commanders that he is "slandering" her name. However, her behavior confirms everything that is being said about her. She has a myspace account and has numourous pictures of her being frisky with other men (pictures drunk with men touching her inappropriately, men with their faces in her breasts) and she herself has posted comments about how her ex is nasty and a "fag". My fiancee is concerned that somehow he is going to get in trouble, since he has now somehow gotten called in and asked about all this. Is any of this slanderous? Will anyone get in trouble? I am not in the military and infact have a finance degree so this is all out of my knowledge. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
