Going to School While in Removal Proceedings

Hi. I am here under removal proceedings. I was an F-1 student until august 2011, and I applied for asylum. Did the interview, and they referred me to immigration judge. Went to the master hearing, asked for more time to find an attorney. So my next master hearing will be in June. And now I got accepted to university. And I talked to the admission, they will still consider me as an international student and pay out of state. But I heard from the lawyer, that I am now under removal proceedings so I am no longer an international student. That I can get benefit for asyle while under this case. According to the lawyer, I should have been able to pay in-state fee instead of out of state.
Is this true?

We have no way of knowing if you qualify to try to gain asylee status. If your lawyer believes you can, you can either go with his advice or consult a different lawyer with the full facts.

Okay I will speak to the lawyer.
One question.
Am I a refugee or asylee? I am confused with the difference. the difference of Refugee definition saying anyone outside their country of nationality, and asylee is any1 in the USA. I am both. I am outside my country and inside USA.
