My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: Florida
I was hired by a huge corporate company and signed a contract for hiring stating that i was being hired at 11.80/hr. When i got back to town (had training and orientation out of town) i got my first check and noticed i was being paid 10.20/hr. Questioned the boss about this numerous times but just got the run around and no real answers. I just want to know that since i now no longer work for this company and based on the hours i worked over two years this would obviously be quite a big difference in pay. Could i sue them for this?
